Not able to visit the library?
The North Douglas Library District provides free, monthly book delivery.

Who can participate?
This service is open to any NDLD cardholder living within NDLD boundaries who is unable to make regular library hours for any reason. Not sure if you live within the District? View the interactive map here.

How does it work?
New books are dropped off on your porch at a scheduled time and any waiting library returns are picked up. This is a contactless delivery, so you do not need to be home during the delivery time.
You may choose specific titles from our collection or ask a librarian to curate a specific selection for you (such as by author, series, genre, or number of items). Contact the library to sign up for a book delivery.

When are deliveries?
Deliveries are between 11 AM and 7 PM the first Wednesday of each month.

What information will the library need?
Book delivery participants will need to provide:
-
Full name. If you are under 18 you will need your guardian to sign up for you.
-
Library card number.
-
Phone number or email.
-
Physical address.
-
Delivery instructions (such as gate code, house color, driveway navigation).
-
What items you'd like to have delivered.
-
If there are any items waiting to be returned.
