Ms. Sisson holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and English Literature from the University of Oregon. Her career has included time as Editor in Chief at Gartner Group International, as a Communications Strategist at Waggener Edstrom, as a Staff Writer at the Klamath Falls Herald & News and as a Resource Director at South Lane Ballet Academy. Ms. Sisson brings to the library a lifelong love of literature and research and a commitment to providing access to information and a forum for positive community interactions.

Ms. Wells holds a Bachelor of Science in Math and Science from the University of Wyoming and a Montessori Teaching Certificate from Boulder, Colorado. She has worked in the Montessori system as a teacher and administrator and in addition to working at Mildred Whipple Library, she is on the board of directors of the Yoncalla Public Library. Ms. Wells’ commitment to education and community building is an asset to the team.

Katrina has been with the Mildred Whipple Library since our grand opening in 2018! Previously she worked as the Customer Service Supervisor for the Montana State University Bookstore, with additional training in Human Resources. Outside of her work for the North Douglas Library District, Katrina is a book reviewer for NetGalley, a freelance editor, and a web designer. She is dedicated to lifelong education and literacy, with a passion for languages and traveling. She tries to read a wide variety of genres each month: whether it's a picture book or an 800+ page epic adventure, all books (and all ages) are fair game!
